# Voice Chat

## **Voice Chat Overview** <a href="#voice-chat-overview" id="voice-chat-overview"></a>

**Voice chat** is one of the main social features in Metafluence. Voice chat (VC) is used for communication between users, owners, influencers, brands etc.

VC uses **spatial sound effects**, i.e., users should stay close to the speaking person in order to hear the speech.

When a user talks, the microphone indicator (GUI) above the user turns green.

### **Controls** <a href="#controls" id="controls"></a>

The "T" toggle key activates VC. After activation, users can talk with one another.

## **Public Voice Chat Overview** <a href="#public-voice-chat-overview" id="public-voice-chat-overview"></a>

**Public voice chat** is a default feature available for every user in Metafluence.

Users can mute one another while in the same location. E.g., muting others while being in the same metahut.

## **Private Voice Chat Overview** <a href="#private-voice-chat-overview" id="private-voice-chat-overview"></a>

**Privat voice chat** allows two or more users to talk privately. Private voice chat is activated when users sit in private zones (like sofas, tables, special boots, etc.).
