Metahut/Guests Info Overview

Metahut/Guests Info is a special pop-up window that allows every metahut visitor to see information about current metahut, who is in the metahut at the moment, locally mute users, and see their location. The information is displayed in a dedicated pop-up window activated by the “F” key.

This pop-up window is available only while the user is in the metahut.

In addition, metahut owners have access to special controls in Metahut Guests pop-up window. For more info, see .

This pop-up window also allows users to open Metahut Card pop-up with more details about the metahut, like location, follower number, visitor number, description, and welcoming message ().

All the features available in Metahut Info:

  • display the guests and their location;

  • access guests' profiles;

  • direct message the guest;

  • locally mute users;

  • vote to kick selected user;

Location of the Guests

“Metahut Guests” pop-up displays the guests and their location within the metahut area (based on metahut zones) in the current metahut. The location is displayed next to the username.

Local Mute

“Metahut Guests” pop-up allows users to mute other users' microphones locally.

Vote to Kick

All guests can initiate the kick process of any other guest by voting in the context menu. This feature allows kicking disturbing guests from the metahut. The number of required votes to kick must be at least 50% of the number of guests in the metahut.

The person that has been kicked can rejoin the metahut, but can be kicked again. After the second kick, that user cannot rejoin the metahut for the next 24 hours.

Direct Message

Allows users to send direct messages in private text channels (if receiving user has enabled direct messages).
