# Event Room

Welcome to the Event Room, a dynamic and interactive virtual space designed to bring people together from around the globe for various gatherings. The room has state-of-the-art multimedia and interactive features to enhance your experience, making it the perfect spot for hosting virtual events, socializing, and networking.

## Event Room Features:

1. **Dance**: Showcase your moves and groove to the music with your avatar, making your virtual experience as lively as a real-life party.
2. **Emotes**: Express yourself with a wide range of emotes, enabling you to convey your emotions and reactions to fellow participants.
3. **Engage and socialize**: Interact with others through voice chat, text chat, or even virtual reality, allowing you to form connections with people worldwide.
4. **Music settings**: Customize your experience by adjusting the volume, selecting your favorite tunes, or adding your playlist to create the perfect atmosphere.
5. **Participate in immersive experiences**: Attend workshops, seminars, and other virtual events designed to entertain, educate, and inspire.

The Event Room is dedicated to providing its owner with a unique and memorable experience, allowing for a seamless transition from physical to virtual gatherings.&#x20;

### **Music & Video Player** <a href="#music-and-video-player" id="music-and-video-player"></a>

Allows owners to set background music or a video for the room.

### **Party Mode** <a href="#party-mode" id="party-mode"></a>

Party Mode is toggled in **Media Controller**. This mode enables the disco ball (in the centre of the room) and special light effects.

### **Big Screen (Presentation Mode)** <a href="#big-screen-presentation-mode" id="big-screen-presentation-mode"></a>

Allows owners to activate **a big presentation screen in** the Event Room.

* When the big screen is active, **music player volume decreases by 80%** (temporary until the big screen is deactivated).
* Th owner can set a presentation for the screen in Owner Portal (web) **by uploading a PDF file** (16x9 proportion, no more than 20 pages\*).

A big screen is **toggled on/off** in **Media Controller** by the owner of the metahut or by the moderation team. In addition, the **presentation file** can be set/changed here.

### **VIP Tables (private conversations)** <a href="#vip-tables-private-conversations" id="vip-tables-private-conversations"></a>

VIP Tables are functioning as private voice chat sessions (up to 5 users).

* The first user that sits at the table becomes the “**table lead**”. Table Lead decides who can join the private conversation (via a pop-up window) and who cannot.
* Users outside the table cannot hear users sitting at the table and vice-versa (private voice chat session). In addition, a temporary private text chat channel appears only for table members.
* Table Lead can change the table settings: **table name, max. Participant number** and **type (open or closed to participate)**. By default, table settings are set to close with 4 participants.

**User Story: How to join the table?**

In order to join the conversation (session), a user must approach the table and interact with it. If the **table lead** allows the user to join the session, the user’s avatar automatically sits at the table (if any seats are available).

### **Global Voice (owner feature)** <a href="#global-voice-owner-feature" id="global-voice-owner-feature"></a>

**Global Voice** feature allows owners to communicate with all guests simultaneously, without distance or space limits. It means all users visiting the metahut will be able to hear the owner regardless of their position or mute/unmute settings.

**Owners can activate this feature only in their metahut.**

**User Story: How to activate Global Voice?**

In order to activate the feature (toggle on/off in a special area), metahut owner should approach the stand (near the room logo) and interact with a dedicated key. The special **notification indicates** that the global speaker is activated (during the speech), and notification is shown for both owner and guests.
